Robert Harry Reimers, son of Harry and Rosa Ohland Reimers, was born September 7, 1911, in Sheridan Township, Poweshiek County, Iowa. Mr. Reimers received his education in a country school and the Brooklyn High School. Of February 14, 1945, he was united in marriage to Irma Keller in the home of her parents, James and Gertrude Keller, rural Malcom. Mr. Reimers farmed all of his life. He was a member of the Madison Church of Christ of rural Brooklyn. He served in the past as a financial secretary and deacon of his church. Surviving he his wife, Irma; two daughters, Evelyn (Kenneth) Mason of Stanley, Wisconsin and Arlene (Thomas Jr.) Rae of Newberg; two sons, Wesley of Troutdale, Oregon, and Louis (Cindy) of Denver, Colorado; and eight grandchildren.
