Read More	Robert H."Bob"Dudden Jan 4,1932-April 8,2015 Robert Henry Dudden, 83, of Bridgeport, passed away April 8, 2015 at the Morrill County Community Hospital in Bridgeport. His funeral service will be held April 13, 2015 at the Bridgeport Church of Christ. Interment with Military Honors will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Broadwater, NE. Bob was born on January 4, 1932 in Broadwater to Henry Garrett and Ilo May (Kepler) Dudden. He attended school in Broadwater until his senior year. He then finished High School in Venango, NE graduating with the class of 1950. In 1952 he was drafted into the Army and was stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, MO until being shipped to Korea during the Police Action there. He was awarded the Bronze Star while in Korea. He worked on the gasoline pipeline and had to repair the breaks in the line that were sometimes caused by the Koreans getting gasoline. After being honorably discharged from the Army in 1954, he worked for Maddox Motors in Sidney and Dudden Elevator in Venango. He was a member of the Morrill County Sheriff's Posse for several years. He enjoyed being a member of this group and the people that belonged to it and had just retired from this group. On June 12, 1956 he was married to AnnaRilla Stewart at the Messiah Lutheran Church in Broadwater. The moved to Sunrise, WY where he worked for the CF&I Iron Mine as an Engineer. In 1959 they moved to Broadwater and helped run the Dudden Lumber Yard with his brothers Jim & Garrett. They then established the Dudden Redi-Mix. When his brothers moved to Oshkosh to run a Redi-Mix there, Bob & Ann stayed in Broadwater. In 1968 they purchased the Redi-Mix in Bridgeport and he moved his family there and they have lived there since that time. Bob and Ann ran the Redi-Mix for 40+ years. They loved to travel and visited most of the United States, Mexico, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and France. He enjoyed playing cards every week at the Bridgeport Community Center. Bob raised & sold miniature horses. He paraded them at many parades in the panhandle and at Cheyenne Frontier Days. He was very proud of the award he received at the Frontier Days Parade. He provided a horse for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and was able to take it down to Seward, NE to the young man that had requested it. His greatest joy was his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Attending their activities was special to him whether they won or lost. He always looked forward to their visits.His father Henry Garrett Dudden, mother Ilo May Jay, in-laws Robert & Opal Stewart, preceded him in death.
