Description	:	WATERVILLE -- Robert J. Bolduc Sr., 80, of Waterville died Monday, April 3, 2006, in Waterville after a long illness with his loving family by his side. He was born on Feb. 18, 1926, in Winslow, the son of Emile and Leanna (St. Amand) Bolduc. He was educated in Winslow schools, graduating from Winslow High in 1944. He served as a military policeman in Italy during the last two years of World War II and was a lifetime member of the Winslow VFW and the Waterville American Legion. He married Julia L. Picard on June 24, 1950, and together they raised six children.... Read More	WATERVILLE -- Robert J. Bolduc Sr., 80, of Waterville died Monday, April 3, 2006, in Waterville after a long illness with his loving family by his side. He was born on Feb. 18, 1926, in Winslow, the son of Emile and Leanna (St. Amand) Bolduc. He was educated in Winslow schools, graduating from Winslow High in 1944. He served as a military policeman in Italy during the last two years of World War II and was a lifetime member of the Winslow VFW and the Waterville American Legion. He married Julia L. Picard on June 24, 1950, and together they raised six children. He was employed by Maine Central Railroad, Hollingsworth & Whitney and American Woolen Mill in Vassalboro, and then was the Winslow police chief for four years. Eventually he turned to his love of carpentry and construction to make his living and enjoyed working side by side with his wife renovating homes. Later, he invested in real estate until his retirement. He was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Jerome Bolduc and Ronald Bolduc, who died one day apart in 1976; and a beloved grandson, Matthew Lemieux, who died in 1997. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Julia; three sons, Robert J. Bolduc Jr. of Waterville, Paul Bolduc and his wife, Nancy, of Clinton and Peter Bolduc and his wife, Roseanne, of Waterville; three daughters, Denise Dorrian and her husband, James, of Fairfield, Melanie Lemieux and her husband, Gilbert, of Clinton, and Janet Laws of Waterville; and 18 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
