Adams was born in Billings on March 20, 1965, the son of John L. and Alice L. (Conrad) Adams of Billings. Robert passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 23, 2008, at his home in Billings. Robert attended Rose Park Elementary, Trinity Lutheran School and Lewis and Clark Junior High. Robert also attended Central Catholic High School and graduated from Billings West High School in 1983. Robert enrolled in Eastern Montana College for a short time. Robert went to work as a security officer for MetraPark and Sundown Security, along with several other various jobs before becoming disabled. Robert was a longtime volunteer for the Minuteman Search and Rescue. Robert enjoyed working hard, playing cards and being with family and friends and found comfort in reading the Bible. Robert is preceded in death by his father, John L. Adams; grandparents Emil and Elizabeth Conrad, John and Lora Adams; his uncles, Larry J. Conrad and Robert L. Adams; and his aunt, Betty Clark. Robert is survived by his mother, Alice L. Adams; a sister, Pauline (Galen) Guilbert; nephews Holden, Marco and Luca Guilbert; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Cremation has taken place. A graveside committal will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 29, at Mountview Cemetery, located at 1704 Central Ave. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, located at 537 Grand Ave. Smith's Downtown Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
