Description	:	Lancaster: Robert L. Snoke, 86, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully July 4, 2009 at The Pickering House, and is now reunited with the love of his life after 32 years. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on February 17, 1923 to the late Charles and Orpha (Cole) Snoke. Bob enjoyed farming, worked many years at Henry's Feed Mill and retired from Landmark. Bob was one of the founding members of St. Mark Church. He enjoyed playing cards with his family especially with his sister-in-law, Marg and going mushroom hunting. Snoke, 86, of Lancaster, Ohio, passed away peacefully July 4, 2009 at The Pickering House, and is now reunited with the love of his life after 32 years. He was born in Lancaster, Ohio on February 17, 1923 to the late Charles and Orpha (Cole) Snoke. Bob enjoyed farming, worked many years at Henry's Feed Mill and retired from Landmark. Bob leaves behind his loving family consisting of his children, Bob (Sheila) Snoke, Lou Ann (Gary) Bowersock, David Snoke and Anna (Kevin) Seesholtz; grandchildren, Brandi, Kyle, Chris, Thad, Travis, Tyler, Shawn, Andrea, Elijah, and Cody; and along with 14 great-greatchildren; and many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. Robert was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois Ann (Dickson) Snoke; four brothers, Floyd Snoke, Earl Snoke, Harold Snoke and Charles Jr. Family will receive friends on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sheridan Funersl Home, Lancaster, Ohio where a vigil service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial wil be held on Wednesday July 8, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mark Church with Father F. Richard Snoke as Celebrant and Father Peter M. Gideon as Co-Celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of The Pickering House and FairHoPe Hospice for their care and support they graciously gave.
