Description	:	Robert L. Sterling, prominent resident of the Asbury district, dropped dead last Saturday morning in a crab house near his home. Death came to Mr. Sterling as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was seventy years old. On the morning of his death he went to his work as usual, relieving his brother Quinn Sterling who had gotten there earlier and was ready to go home for breakfast. Death came to Mr. Sterling as the result of a cerebral hemorrhage. He was seventy years old. On the morning of his death he went to his work as usual, relieving his brother Quinn Sterling who had gotten there earlier and was ready to go home for breakfast. Soon after his brother had departed, a passerby noticed the deceased lying in the doorway, partly in the crab house and partly out. He had evidently been standing in the doorway when the attack that brought death, came. He was the son of the late Sallie B. and Henry Sterling, one of the communities outstanding and prominent families and was well-known both in Asbury and Crisfield for his honesty and integrity. All his life he has been an industrious worker, often barely taking time off work to sleep and was an upstanding, Christian gentleman. Until the time of his death he was very active and enjoyed his usual good health. He is survived by three brothers, Mr. Quinn Sterling and Mr. Frank Sterling, and Mr. Rastau Sterling, and one sister, Miss Angie Sterling. Funeral services were held Monday from the home of the deceased with the Rev. H. D. Dukes, pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness Church, officiating. Mr. Dukes was assisted in the ceremony by Rev. J. T.
