Description	:	Robert L. Tam MONTICELLO — Services for Robert L. Tarn, 82, Rt. 1, Idaville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. He died at 7:05 p.m. Friday in his residence. Born March 5,1914, in Idaville, he was the son of Isaac and Stella Hunt Tarn. On Oct. 11,1952, in Walton, he was married to Leta B. Neler, who survives. Mr. Tam had been in failing health for the past two years. He was a lifelong resident of the Idaville community, and graduated from Idaville High School in 1932. Tarn, 82, Rt. 1, Idaville, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home. He died at 7:05 p.m. Friday in his residence. Born March 5,1914, in Idaville, he was the son of Isaac and Stella Hunt Tarn. On Oct. 11,1952, in Walton, he was married to Leta B. Neler, who survives. Mr. Tam had been in failing health for the past two years. He was a lifelong resident of the Idaville community, and graduated from Idaville High School in 1932. He had been a farmer most of his life, retiring in 1992, and had also worked at the Monticello RCA Plant for several years. He was a member of the Royal Center Masonic Lodge. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served during World War II, and was a prisoner of war. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Michael (Margaret A.) Reef, Rt. 1, Burnettsville; three sons, Paul W. Tam, Rt. 2, Monticello, Michael K. Tam, Rt. 1, Monticello, and Bradley K. Tam, Rt. 1, Idaville; two sisters, Marjorie Berridge, Michigan City, and Iris Lumbert, Logansport; one brother, Wayne Tam, Logansport; and six grandchildren. Two sisters and one brother preceded in death. John Badertscher and Rich Rassmussen will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Idaville Cemetery, Idaville. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday in the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Idaville First Response, and the Visiting Nurse Program. APRIL 12,1996 THE LOGANSPORT PRESS
