Harvey of South East St. tiptoed to the crib in which their three month old granson Lawrence Robert Harvey was sleeping and made the startling discovery that the babe was dead. The shock to the mother and father was a severe one, they had planned a happy New Year together with relatives. The child had not been ill and on account of the suddenness of the death the coroner R.R. McCullan of Kempton was called and conducted an inquiry rendering the finding that death was due to heart trouble. The baby had awakened about 5 o'clock when the father who is employed at the car barns came home from his work having been given shorter hours on account of it being New Years day. The mother prepared the baby's bottle which it took readily and nursed the contents. The infant was tucked in the warm bed in the crib and went to sleep naturally and the parents busied themselves about the house until the arrival of the grandmother at 8 o'clock when the awful discovery was made. Lawrence Robert was born September 25 in Tipton being the son of Monty and Rebecca Coats Harvey. Besides the parents the little one is survived by a brother Sammy Eugene, almost 2 years old, he is also survived by the maternal and paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. John Coats and Mr. and Mrs. C.E. Harvey of this city. Funeral services will be held at the Pilgram Holiness Church on Mill St. Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. Snow assisted by Rev. Earlywine will conduct the services and burial will follow in Fairview cemetery. **
