Read More	Cherokee Sentinel, June 6, 1924, page 1: Lee Brown Dead Lee Brown died on Tuesday at the home of his son, Roy Brown, in Omaha, Nebr., aged 53 years, 5 months and 27 days. Robert Lee Brown was born in Rushville, Ill., January 6th, 1870, moving to Kansas with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Brown in November, 1876. He was married to Miss Lela May Angel in 1893 and one son was born to this union. He has been living with his son for the past four years. He leaves besides his son, his mother, Mrs. Frank Brown, a sister, Mrs. Emma Roberts of Pittsburg, who is now in Oregon; two brothers, Chas. F. in Cherokee and Henry who lives in Eureka. Lee Brown is known to most everyone in Cherokee as he has lived here at different times, usually running a restaurant, at which business he was an expert. He sold out his restaurant here four years ago and went to Omaha to visit his son, and he liked it so well up there that he has since lived in that town. The body was brought back to Cherokee Wednesday and funeral services were conducted at the Christian church yesterday afternoon, by Rev. Oscar Wright of Pittsburg and interment made in the Cherokee cemetery. The bereaved ones have our heartfelt sympathy.
