Marion Sentinel Thursday October 17, 1940 The funeral services for Robert Lee Gillmor, who was born near Marion February 18, 1860, and lived near here until moving to Miller, N.D., in 1907, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Yocom chapel in Marion, the service in charge of the Rev. J.R. Clyde, pastor of the Prairie Chapel church, and burial was made in Oak Shade cemetery. He died at his home in Miller thursday, Oct. 19. He was the son of Alexander and Elizabeth Miller Gillmor, and lived in the Wesley Chapel neighborhood, and was a member of that congregation until moving to Dakota where he affiliated with the Miller Methodist church. He was married near Marion on February 23, 1898, to Olive McClain, who survives together with four children, Mrs. Thomas Harvey, Jr., of Rockford, Ill; Mrs. W.C. Shmieter, Los Angeles, Calif.; Robert Niles Gillmor, Schenectady, N.Y., and Donald Gillmor, of Chicago. There are also three grandchildren, and a brother, William E. Gillmor, of Miller.
