Associate Cheryl Hollich of the Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. Casket bearers will be Josh Buster, Jacob Theobald, Chad Martz, John Fridley, Doug Hull, and Gary Theobald. Robert was born on June 20, 1958, in Muscatine, the son of Robert L. and Janice I. Hafner Martz, Sr. He was a graduate of Muscatine High School, class of 1976. He worked as a meat inspector for the US Department of Agriculture. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church. He loved to sing karaoke. Those left to honor his memory include his wife, Windy Clark of Muscatine; two sons, Derek J. Martz and wife, Jamie, of Davenport, and Darrin S. Martz of Muscatine; a daughter, Michaella Brendt of Ottumwa; four grandchildren, Alexis Sanchez, Krystol Martz, Dakotah Martz, and Jacob Whitworth; his father, Robert L. Martz Sr. of Muscatine; one brother, John C. Martz and wife, Tracy, of Muscatine; and one sister, Rhonda K. Theobald and husband, Gary, of Muscatine. He was preceded in death by his mother in 2009; one brother, Kevin, in infancy; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
