Nielsen, the son of Benjamin and Zoe Tull Nielsen, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 5, 1926, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 3, 1982, at the age of 55 years, 7 months and 28 days. Bob grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School and the University of Nebraska, where he sang with the university singers and at Riverside Church in Lincoln. Nielsen, the son of Benjamin and Zoe Tull Nielsen, was born at Aurora, Nebraska, on December 5, 1926, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on August 3, 1982, at the age of 55 years, 7 months and 28 days. Bob grew up in Aurora and graduated from Aurora High School and the University of Nebraska, where he sang with the university singers and at Riverside Church in Lincoln. He worked with his father in the construction business in Aurora, during which time he served as scout master for Boy Scouts for several years. He then moved to New York City and worked in the accounting department of the Hotel Pierre for 18 years. He returned to Aurora four years ago. He was a member of the Federated Church in Aurora, and had sung in and led the church choir. When he returned to Aurora he opened and antique business with Dick Grosshans. Bob loved flowers and gardening and raising poodles, which were his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by one brother Donald and one sister Betty. Those who remain to cherish his memory are his parents, Ben and Zoe, of Aurora and many other relatives and close friends. Contributor: Don (46558676)
