Rosamond, 76, who died at Memorial Hospital Sunday night after being struck by an automobile at the corner of Hays and Lexington, were held this afternoon at 1 o'clock from Hays Avenue Methodist Church by the Rev. Harry Estes of Milan. Burial was in the Rosamond Cemetery at Gadsden. Mr. Rosamond was born in Gadsden and lived there about 45 years, being a farmer and grist mill operator. Rosamond, 76, who died at Memorial Hospital Sunday night after being struck by an automobile at the corner of Hays and Lexington, were held this afternoon at 1 o'clock from Hays Avenue Methodist Church by the Rev. Harry Estes of Milan. Burial was in the Rosamond Cemetery at Gadsden. Mr. Rosamond was born in Gadsden and lived there about 45 years, being a farmer and grist mill operator. He moved to Dyer county thereafter and came to Jackson six years ago, when he retired, and was making his home with a daughter, Mrs. Ida Craig, 266 Jackson Street. He was a member of the Gadsden Baptist Church. Surviving besides his daughter, Mrs. Craig, are a son, H.L. Rosamond of Blytheville, Ark,. three other daughters, Mrs. J.H. Ballentine of Flint, Mich., Mrs. C.N. Miller of Granite City, Ill., and Mrs. E.E. Porter of Alton, Ill.; two brothers, John Rosamond and Jim Rosamond of Humboldt, a sister, Mrs. David P. Jackson of Melrose, New Mexico; five granddaughters and two grandsons. Pallbearers were J.J. Taylor, Homer Morgan, R.S. Newman, J.A. Blackwell, E.L. Cannon and G.M. Payton." Grave maybe unmarked
