Wallace, 57, of 826 Barbara Lane, Wapakoneta, died Thursday morning, July 1, 1993, at his residence, following a sudden illness. He was born December 30, 1935, in Lima, the son of Harland and Nancy (Webb) Wallace. On June 11, 1955, he married Marilyn J. Koenig, who survives. Survivors also include one son and daughter-in-law, Gregory and Mary Wallace of Wapakoneta; one daughter, Victory Lynn Bailey of Wapakoneta; four grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Wallace and Joshua and Ryan Bailey; three brothers, Grover Wallace, Byron Wallace and Ron Wallace, all of Wapakoneta; three sisters, Irene Burden and Betty Harshbarger, both of Wapakoneta, and Mrs. Jim (Sandra) Ivey of Waynesfield; and his mother-in-law, Hilda Koenig of Wapakoneta. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Harshbarger and Karen Wallace. Mr. Wallace had worked the past 25 years with Superior Metals Company, Wapakoneta. Prior to that, he had been a Meyers Dairy distributor. A member of St.. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, and its Holy Name Society, Mr. Wallace was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 1271, Wapakoneta. He was a 1953 graduate of Blume High School. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed watching the Wapakoneta youth baseball games. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday at 11 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta, with Father William O'Donnell, C.PP.S., officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Wapakoneta. the family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 P.M. today and from 10 to 10:45 A.M. Saturday at the Patrick Heinl Chapel of Bayliff and Eley Funeral Homes, Wapakoneta. A prayer service will be held today at 8:30 P.M. at the funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wapakoneta.
