Read More	Published: October 12, 2007 10:12 pm Robert L. Weber Sr. [Lonaconing] LONACONING — Robert L. Weber Sr., 73, of W. Main St., Lonaconing, died Friday, Oct. 12, 2007, at Braddock Hospital, Cumberland. Born Jan. 12, 1934, in Knapps Meadow, he was the son of the late Charles Weber and Sarah (Rennie) Weber. He was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Getson; and several stepbrothers and sisters. He was Pentecostal by faith and was very active in his church as the Sunday school superintendent, a deacon, a Sunday school teacher, a member of the choir and a member of the community choir. He also loved his flowers and gardening. He graduated from Central High School, Lonaconing, and was a member of the Christian Business Men's Association and was retired from Westvaco Corp. He is survived by his wife, Rachel (Marshall) Weber, Lonaconing; two daughters, Brenda J. Bridges, Bel Air, and Jane Ann Mowbray, Damascus; three sons, Robert L. Weber Jr., Cumberland, William B. Weber, Alexandria, Va., and Charles S. Weber, Westernport; five grandchildren, Derrick, Bethany, Bradley, Emily and Katie; one great-grandchild, Carter; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will be received at the Eichhorn-McKenzie Funeral Home, P.A., eichhorn-mckenziefh.com Lonaconing, on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2007, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the Bethel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Lonaconing, on Monday, Oct. 15, 2007, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. George Loar officiating. Mr. Weber will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery, Lonaconing.
