Born in Lonaconing, Glenn spent his entire life here and worked as a coal miner until five years ago when he was made organizer. He was also chairman of the Draft Board No 4 and a former member of the House of Delegates. His wife, the former Isabelle McFarlane, died six years ago in Baltimore. He is survived by his mother, Mrs Mary Longridge, Glenn; one son, Francis Glenn; one daughter, Mrs C L Williams, Baltimore; five brothers: Charles, Smithfield, Pa; Frank and William, Fort Wayne, Ind.; Matthew of Detroit, Mich and John, Flemington, W Va.; three sisters: Mrs Theodore Voehl, Chicago, Ill; Mrs Margaret Evans and Miss Agnes Glenn, both of Fort Wayne and one granddaughter. Mr Glenn was taken ill suddenly right after noon and was removed to Mercy Hospital. He had an office in Baltimore. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday from the home of the home of Charles Schramm, State Street. (contributor-Pat Dailey #47775442)
