Description	:	Robert M. Moser, 87, of Marysville, KS, died at his home Oct. 10, 2012. He was born July 23, 1925. A rosary service was held at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 am, Monday, October 15, at St. Gregory's. Father David Metz officiated. The musicians were Dolores Bruna and Wayne Kruse. The pallbearers were Ted Nemec, Mark Moser, Mike Moser, Lynn Hermesch, Bob Ballman and Theresa Schneider. Moser, 87, of Marysville, KS, died at his home Oct. 10, 2012. He was born July 23, 1925. A rosary service was held at St. Gregory's Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial was held at 10:30 am, Monday, October 15, at St. Gregory's. Father David Metz officiated. The musicians were Dolores Bruna and Wayne Kruse. The pallbearers were Ted Nemec, Mark Moser, Mike Moser, Lynn Hermesch, Bob Ballman and Theresa Schneider. The honorary pallbearers were Bill Sandmann, Bob Young, Francis Vering, Frank Huffman and Chris Schwindamann. Bob was born at KC, MO and graduated from Marysville High School. He entered the US Army and was stationed in Stuttgart, German during the Korean War. In 1953, he was honorably discharged. He married Bernice Dwerlkotte on August 7, 1954 at St. Gregory's. Bob farmed all of his life north of Marysville and raised wheat, milo, corn, beans and had a cow/calf herd. Flexible farming hours allowed him to make room for many hobbies that included motorcycles, guns, cameras and family and friends. He grew up and lived in the same neighborhood all of his life. He had a gift of telling stories about people, places and events that made up his life. He stashed things around the farm that reminded him of good times and good people. He could make you feel every drop of sweat, rain, sleet or snow as well as the joy of the people involved when relating why he was saving this or that. He always had something to say and a smile to go with it. Bob belonged to the Robert Moser Society; this society is a group of people who all share the same name, Robert Moser, across the United States. He attended several conventions over the years, and even hosted the event in Marysville in 2007. He was proceeded in death by his parents; and brother, Bill Moser. Survivors are his wife Bernice of Marysville, KS; son, Steve Moser Marysville, KS; daughters, Mary (Twig) Marston, Norfolk, NE; and Patty (Roger) Dollarhide of Newton, KS; sister Mary Schwindamann, Topeka; 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
