Burial at Lynch Cemetery. Mr. Delbridge passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at Life Care Center in Tullahoma. He was born October 20, 1930 in Rutherford County, TN the son of the late Will and Zettie Hollis Delbridge. He retired from AEDC after 39 ½ years having been employed as a welder and boilermaker. He was a United States Army veteran having served during the Korean War. In earlier years, he enjoyed fishing and hunting and will always be remembered as a friend to all who met him. He and his wife have served as caretakers of Lynch Cemetery for many years. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Michael Delbridge and a sister, Betty Jones. Survivors include his loving wife of 51 years, Odell Darnell Delbridge of Manchester, four sisters, Dorthey Whithead of Donelson, TN, Nell Douglas of Murfreesboro, TN, Sue Bland of Hamilton, Ohio, Irene Nelson of OK and Lois Key of Texas and a brother, Billy Delbridge of Sidell, IL and numerous nieces and nephews.
