Description	:	Robert S. Wolf, son of Roy and Edna Wolf passed away peacefully from complications of a stroke on October 22, 2009, at The Village in Indianola, Iowa. Bob was born November 9, 1923, in Corydon, Iowa. He graduated from Corydon High School in 1941. He was a student at the University of Iowa prior to enlisting into the Marine Corps at the beginning of World War II. During the war, Bob was stationed at Guam helping to evacuate the wounded. Wolf, son of Roy and Edna Wolf passed away peacefully from complications of a stroke on October 22, 2009, at The Village in Indianola, Iowa. Bob was born November 9, 1923, in Corydon, Iowa. He graduated from Corydon High School in 1941. He was a student at the University of Iowa prior to enlisting into the Marine Corps at the beginning of World War II. During the war, Bob was stationed at Guam helping to evacuate the wounded. After the War he attended the Cincinnati School of Mortuary. He joined his father, Roy, in business at the Wolf Funeral Home in Corydon, Iowa where he was the director for 35 years. He also owned and operated Wolf Furniture Company and the Ben Franklin Store in Corydon. Bob retired and sold his funeral home business in 1986. Bob married Esta Lee Norman, October 25, 1947. This union was blessed with a daughter Julia and son John. Bob was an avid golfer and enjoyed countless hours golfing with his golf friends. He was an incredibly generous man who loved spending time with his loving wife, children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by those close to him. Bob served on the Corydon City Council, was a member of the American Legion, the Masons and a member of the Methodist Church in Corydon. Contributor: Santo (50589362) • t was a SGT in the U. S.
