Description	:	Bob Fauss, 64 years, of Omaha, NE died Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at his home. Bob was born February 5, 1952 in Fremont, NE to Marvin and Jerri (Cooley) Fauss. He grew up in Hooper and lived there until moving to Omaha in 1975. On March 8, 1975, he married Gail Ann Dolhanyk in Hooper. After divorcing Gail, Bob married Linda Hitz on July 31, 1982 in Omaha. He was a mechanic for Nebraska Machinery Company until retiring in September of 2015. Bob is survived by his wife, Linda; sister, Loretta (Steve) Snover of Fremont; nieces, Patricia (Stuart) Everett and Victoria Hitz all of Ft. Worth, TX and Julie(Kory)Thomas of Kalamazoo, MI; nephew, Christian Hitz of Ft. Worth, TX; great niece, Liv Everett; great nephews, Drew and Justin Thomas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Friday, December 2, 2016 at Rejoice Lutheran Church, 2556 South 138th Street in Omaha, NE. The Rev. Brad Meyer will officiate. Closed casket visitation on Thursday from 4 PM to 7 PM at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont. Burial is at 10:30 AM on Saturday at the Hooper Cemetery in Hooper, NE. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Hearts United for Animals.
