Description	:	Robert S. Bob Mitchell 89 of Bonaparte passed away at 6:45 P.M. Monday October 25, 2010, at the Van Buren County Hospital in Keosauqua. Born September 15, 1921, at Bonaparte Iowa the son of Don R. and Beulah C. Willits. On December 30, 1947, at Moralton Arkansas he married Faye Irene Bentzinger. She preceded him in death on October 12, 1994. Survivors include one son Ronnie Corky (Katie) Mitchell of Bonaparte two daughters Linda (Steve) McKeehan of Keosauqua and Vicki Wichhart of Bonaparte also surviving are six grandchildren eight great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Bonaparte United Church the Bonaparte American Legion Post #563 and the Iowa State Archeology Society. He was a 1939 graduate of the Bonaparte High School and World War II Army Veteran. He was a retired farmer. He enjoyed relic hunting fishing hunting and mushrooming. He enjoyed his grandchildren family and friends.
