Description	:	Robert S. Clark, age 77, died Friday, January 16, 2004, at St. Lukes Hospital in Cedar Rapids, following a brief illness. Visitation will be 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., Sunday, January 15, at the Goettsch Funeral Home in Monticello, where Burns Lodge will conduct Masonic Services at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in his memory. Robert Stanley Clark was born October 29, 1926, in Monticello, the son of Bert and Dena (Lange) Clark. He received his education in the Monticello Community Schools and graduated with the class of 1944. He enlisted in the United States Navy during War World II, from 1944 until 1946. He then enlisted in the United States Army, serving from 1947 through 1948. He married Winona Ruth Harnden on April 3, 1949, at the First Christian Church in Cedar Rapids. He was employed with Collins Radio in Cedar Rapids. He was later employed by the 7 States Oil Company in Cedar Rapids and Marion. In 1955, he purchased the 7 States Oil Company Station in Monticello and retired from his business in 1986. Winona preceded him in death on March 13, 2000. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and the Burns Lodge. Surviving are one daughter, Sue (Randy) Hoffman of Cascade; one son, Mark (Jackie) Clark of Colfax, WI; four grandchildren, Zach, Cody, Cole and Cain; three step-grandchildren, Trish, David and Jenna; and one brother, Eugene (June Ann) Clark of Cedar Rapids. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, one grandson, Rex Hoffman in 1994 and one brother, Everett Clark. Goettsch Funeral Home
