Read More	Robert Stanley Taylor was born at Fairfield, Maine, on September 9, 1917 to Otis Edward Taylor and Eva Maude (York) Taylor. He was pre-deceased by his parents, an infant sister and his nephew, Ronald Thompson. Robert was a graduate of Lawrence High School in Fairfield, Maine, and Morgan-Thomas Business College, Waterville, Maine. From the mid-1930s until his retirement, weeks before his passing, he worked for LaVerdiere's Super Drug Stores as head of purchasing for the chain of stores. Robert was a long time member of the Fairfield School Board, a member of the Fairfield Kiwanis Club and a 32nd Degree Mason at Fairfield's Siloam Lodge #92. He married Bertha Viola Wilson on July 10, 1950, at the Methodist Church in Waterville. They resided in Fairfield, Maine. They were parents to two sons, David Alan Taylor, born June 28, 1951, at Waterville, Maine, and Richard Mark Taylor, born September 12, 1954, also at Waterville. Robert died on October 25, 1976, at the Thayer Unit of Mid-Maine Medical Center in Waterville, Maine. He was survived by his wife, Bertha, of Fairfield, son David Taylor, son Richard and his wife, Andrea George Taylor, of Fairfield, his sister, Hilda Lucille Taylor Thompson (Basil) of Fairfield, his nephew, Robert Thompson, his niece, Debra Thompson, and many extended family members whom he lovingly embraced. [2019 Update: Bertha Viola Wilson Taylor passed away on December 4, 1995, at Fairfield, Maine. Son, David, later married LeeEllen Friedland. They resided in Washington, DC. Son, Richard, and his wife, Andrea, became the parents of three daughters. Jennifer Grace Taylor, born July 27, 1979, at Waterville, Maine; Susannah Beth Taylor, born January 6, 1982, at Bangor, Maine; and Molly Marcia Taylor, born September 9, 1991, at Berlin, Vermont. Jennifer married David S. Cutler and resides in Milford, Massachusetts, with her two sons - Jake Henry Cutler, born January 3, 2012, at Boston, Massachusetts, and Matthew Carl Cutler, born February 2, 2015, also at Boston, Massachusetts. Jennifer works for the Ashland Public School Department as Director of Counseling and Social Emotional Learning. Susannah resided in Boston, Massachusetts, where she is a Registered Nurse working as a Clinical Coordinator at Boston's Childrens Hospital. Susie later moved to Milwaukee, WI, where she works as a Quality nurse for a Medicaid/Medicare insurance company. Molly later married Nicholas Anthony Presentato and they reside in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, she works at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro's Graduate Student Office as an Enrolled Student Service Specialist. Richard and Andrea reside in Pfafftown, NC. In retirement, David and LeeEllen reside in Portland, Maine. Robert's sister, Hilda, passed away on March 31, 2000.]
