Description	:	Bob Longerbeam, 82, of 700 W. Alta Vista Ave., died at 7:40 a.m. Aug. 9, 2009, at the Ottumwa Regional Health Center. He was born Oct. 1, 1926, in Lisbon, Iowa, to William "Willie" and Mary Elizabeth Beese Longerbeam. He married Wauneta Cassatt Jan. 25, 1950. He served in the Army Air Corps during World War II.He was a driver for Hannibal-Quincy Truck Lines, KRX Truck Lines and Roadway Truck Lines, retiring March 31, 1986.Bob was a member of Teamsters Local #347, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #114 and O.B. Surviving are his wife, Wauneta; a daughter, Linda (Richard) Bell of Derby, Kan; five grandchildren, Tabitha (Brian) Johnson, Tracie (Mike) Bailey, Gary Wright, Mike (Jean) Wright and Mary Ann (Travis) Roberts; 10 great-grandchildren, Andrew and Coby Johnson, Ashley and Michael Bailey, Caleb, Cheyenne, Makayla and Erik Wright, Makenna and Taylor Roberts. He was preceded in death by a son, Steve A. Longerbeam; a brother, Jim Longerbeam; and a sister, Dorothy Baxa. Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Reece Funeral Home with Joe Selix officiating. Published in the Ottumwa Daily Courier from 8/10/2009 - 8/12/2009
