Description	:	Robert Wayne Sisler, 49, Anita truck driver, was killed in a semi trailer accident on Interstate 29 about 3 ½ miles north of Council Bluffs at noon Tuesday. Sisler, employed by Chadwick Feed and Trucking of Anita, was taking a load of hogs from Atlantic to a packing plant at Fremont, Neb. Read More	Robert Wayne Sisler, 49, Anita truck driver, was killed in a semi trailer accident on Interstate 29 about 3 ½ miles north of Council Bluffs at noon Tuesday. Sisler, employed by Chadwick Feed and Trucking of Anita, was taking a load of hogs from Atlantic to a packing plant at Fremont, Neb. The semi trailer plunged off a bridge over Pigeon Creek and fell about 30 feet to the north creek bank. The vehicle caught on fire and firemen from Carter Lake and Crescent were called to put out the blaze. The northbound truck ran onto the shoulder, striking a guardrail leading to the bridge. It then skidded back across the two traffic lanes, striking the bridge railing and fell over the side, according to reports. One of the truck's fuel tanks ruptured and was left on the bridge. The cab of the truck was crushed by the trailer. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Mullen Funeral Home in Anita, with burial at the Evergreen Cemetery in Anita. Survivors include a brother, Dick Sisler of Anita; three sisters, Maxine Greenwalt of Massena, Norma Holter of Norfolk, Neb., and Beth Egger of El Reno, Okla., and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant brother, Billy Frank. Mr. Sisler was born in Cass County March 14, 1932, the son of Wayne and Belle Woodall Sisler. He attended rural schools in the Highland area and later moved to Anita, where he attended school. After schooling he was employed many years as a truck driver. He served in the Army from October 1949, to January 1953. He was a member of the American Legion Post 210 in Anita and employed by Chadwick Trucking Company in Anita. The family will meet relatives and friends from 7:30 – 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Visitation at Mullen Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Thursday.
