Description	:	Coon Rapids Enterprise December 1, 1994 Memorial services were held Sunday, November 27 for Roberta Elaine Keister, 60, of Council Bluffs who died Thursday, November 24, 1994 in Immanuel Hospital in Omaha, Ne. Reverend Steve Hansen officiated the 3:00 p.m. memorial services from the United Methodist Church. Lula Games served as organist-and Sam and Corrine Cretsinger were vocalists. Interment was in the Coon Rapids Cemetery. Roberta, daughter of Delbert H. and Lillian Kinnick Ford, was born March 7, 1934 on the family farm near Bayard. Interment was in the Coon Rapids Cemetery. Roberta, daughter of Delbert H. and Lillian Kinnick Ford, was born March 7, 1934 on the family farm near Bayard. After graduating salutatorian from Coon Rapids High School in 1952 she married William K. Keister on June 15. They were the parents of two children. Roberta and Bill ran Bill's Studio and Sundries in Coon Rapids until 1965 when they moved to Council Bluffs. Over the years, Roberta held several positions in the insurance, mental health, and personnel fields. Later she returned to college, receiving a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Buena Vista College in 1980. She had worked for Omaha Public Power District for the past five years. Roberta was active for some years in the Democratic Party. Roberta died on Thursday, November 24,1994 at Immanuel Hospital, Omaha, Ne., after a sudden illness. She was 60 years, eight months and 17 days of age. She is survived, by her husband. Bill, of Council Bluffs; her daughter, Ellen, and son-in-law, Kenneth R. DeVilbiss, and their four children, John, Jason, Michael, and Kayleen, of Louisville, Co.; her son, Karl Keister, of Signal Hill, Ca.; a brother, Dennis Ford, of Jefferson; an adopted sister, Patricia Joiner, of Herman, Ne.; a special-friend, Carol Sigmann, of Gold River, Ca.; and many others. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents.
