Berta was born on Oct. 14, 1947, to Bob and Elinor Schulz, in Williston, N.D. She was raised in Northeastern Montana with her three sisters, Adaire, Laurel and Maggie. Berta spent the last 20 years of her life with the man she loved, her husband, Bill Bomar. Together they raised Berta's two children, Jennifer and Manuel. Berta had 10 wonderful grandchildren, Mykhala, Steven, Brad, Zoe, Zane, Brody, Ian, Bailey, Alicia and Brian, who were all the joy of her heart. Berta was one of a kind. A bigger heart could not be found. She touched many lives. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and knew of her. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bob and Elinor Schulz; her sister, Adaire; and her infant daughter, Rachael. May God's grace go before her. May His love enfold her. May His mighty arms uphold her and protect her. 'Til we meet again. Go with God. Services will be held at the Wicks Lane Baptist Church, 1605 Bench Blvd., on Monday, Jan. 7, at 11 a.m., with a family visitation prior to the service, starting at 9 a.m. at the church. Burial will be at the Shepherd Cemetery. The family asks that donations be sent to The Dialysis Clinic, 2411 Village Lane, Billings, MT 59102 or to Wicks Lane Baptist Church, 1605 Bench Blvd., Billings, MT 59105.
