Linn, 71, of East Wenatchee and formerly a long-time resident of Chelan, died Sunday, June 18, 2000, at Central Washington Hospital following an extended illness. She was born March 14, 1929, at Boliver, MO, the daughter of James and Bessie (Able) Coleman. She resided at Omak for a short time before moving to the Lake Chelan area. On Aug. 16, 1965, she was married to Robert Linn at Chelan. They continued to reside at Chelan until 1986, when they moved to East Wenatchee. Roberta was a past Madam President for the Lake Chelan Eagles Auxiliary and at one time, owned the Apple Cup Cafe in Chelan with her husband. She was famous for her banana bread which all her many nieces and nephews will swear was the best in the world. Survivors include her husband, Robert of the home; a son, David L. Lee of Wenatchee; a daughter, Allison Hunt of Wenatchee; three stepchildren, Robert W. Linn of Spanaway; Jerry Linn of Chelan; Ronnie Linn of East Wenatchee; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Clark of Chelan. She was preceded in death by a son Thomas, her parents, four brothers, Sam, Bill, Rose Orville and Tom, four sisters, Nine Pearl Coleman, Cora Woodford, Bessie Villines and Emily Schwilke. Services will be conducted Friday, June 23, 2000, at 2 p.m. from Precht Rose Chapel with Donn Plew officiating. Interment will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. Following the service, friends are invited to a dinner, served at the Lake Chelan Eagles. Services are under the direction of Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
