She worked for Iris Realty in the office before she became a mother. She was a super fan of the St. Louis Cardinals and the Iowa Hawkeyes. She was a wonderful cook, avid reader, a lover of classic movies and was an amazing singer. Tootie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Joyce Thompson, her parents-in-law, five sisters-in-law and four brothers-in-laws.
