Description	:	Rogene Scott Collison, 50, of Ida Grove, formerly of Blencoe, Iowa, died Feb. 25, 2012, at his home. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery, rural Blencoe, with military honors provided by the U.S. Army and the American Legion Stevens Kelley Post No. 665 of Blencoe. Arrangements are under the direction of Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa. Rogene was born Sept. 23, 1961 in Onawa, Iowa, and was the son of Delbert and Dola Belle [Stoll] Collison. He grew up on the family farm in the rural Blencoe area and graduated from West Monona High School in 1980. He joined the Iowa Army National Guard and served his country for 12 years. After graduating from high school, he attended Iowa Falls Community College and studied building trades. Rogene was united in marriage to Annino Davis of Mapleton, Iowa, on Sept. 21, 1985, and they were blessed with one daughter. Rogene held various jobs throughout his life as a carpenter, meat packer, USDA meat inspector, and finally as an over-the-road truck driver until myotonic muscular dystrophy forced him to retire. Rogene was proud of his military service and truck driving stories, but nothing came close to how proud he was to be a grandfather. Survivors include his daughter, Megan Cook of Le Mars, Iowa; a grandson, Christian of Le Mars; a granddaughter, Madyson of Le Mars; his father, Delbert Collison of Onawa, Iowa; a brother, Ron [Pam] Collison of Rowley, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Cathy [Michael] Sis of Bellevue, Neb.; and several nieces and nephews.
