Mr. Creamer died Friday, January 7, 1994 at a local hospice in Colorado Springs after a lengthy illness. Roger Alton Creamer was born on July 1, 1931 at Spearfish, South Dakota, the son of Charles Walter and Velma Rose (Dodd) Creamer. As a boy he lived in Alzada, Montana and Upton, Wyoming. Later the family moved to Spearfish, South Dakota where he attended high school. He served in the US Navy for 20 years. He was married on February 4, 1955 to Marjorie Mae Oudin at Sundance, Wyoming. After his retirement from the Navy he was owner and president of C & D Enterprises at Colorado Springs. he retired in 1982. he was a charter member of the American Society for Industrial Security. Survivors include his wife Marjorie of Colorado Springs; a daughter Marilyn Hannasch, Colorado Springs; a son Michael C. Creamer, Boise, Idaho; his stepmother, Wyomia Creamer, Douglas, Wyoming; 4 grandchildren: Sarah Creamer, David Creamer, Samuel Hannasch, Allison Hannasch; a step-brother Sherman Thorne, Casper, Wyoming; two aunts: Dorothy Schuster, Spearfish, South Dakota and Norma Cessna, Scranton, Iowa. He was preceded in death by his parents.
