Description	:	Roger Frank Rokusek was born on March 14, 1940 in Burt, North Dakota to Wesley and Bertha (Haberstroh) Rokusek. He grew up on a farm and attended Mott Lincoln School graduating with the class of '59. After high school, he joined the National Guard serving from July 20, 1962 - April 30, 1966. Roger married Ella Kirschemann, his wife of 53 years, on September 23, 1961. They went on to have four beautiful daughters together. Read More	Roger Frank Rokusek was born on March 14, 1940 in Burt, North Dakota to Wesley and Bertha (Haberstroh) Rokusek. He grew up on a farm and attended Mott Lincoln School graduating with the class of '59. After high school, he joined the National Guard serving from July 20, 1962 - April 30, 1966. Roger married Ella Kirschemann, his wife of 53 years, on September 23, 1961. They went on to have four beautiful daughters together. They farmed and milked cows north of Burt for 27 years where he taught his daughters to work hard and to respect and appreciate everything in life. Roger and Ella moved to Bismarck in 1989 and returned to Mott in 2012. Roger worked for Kirschemann Trucking until he got his own truck and spent the next five years hauling coal and gravel. He especially loved trucking when he got to take one of his grandchildren with him. Roger enjoyed wood working, playing cards, and going downtown for coffee. He was an avid map reader and loved watching or reading any western he could find. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they were all precious to him and he enjoyed every minute he had with them. Roger will be missed by his family and many friends.
