Description	:	Funeral services were held Friday, May 27, 1966 for Roger Glenn Fosheim at 2 pm in the Legion Hall at Midland, SD. Rev. Ralph Holmlund of Midland officiated. The Midland high school boys chorus consisting of Pat Haddock, Larry Joy, Michael Nemec, Dallas McKinley, Keith Harry, Vincent Dinsmore, John Gillaspie, Wayne Anderson and Lee Harry sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "Beyond The Sunset". John Gillaspie sang a solo "Evening Prayer". They were accompanied by Mrs. Fred Folkerts. Pallbearers were Dallas McKinley, Gary Phillips, Larry Hagan, Leslie Ernst, Randy Routier and Gary Hunt. Roger Glenn Fosheim was born in Pierre, SD on March 16, 1949, the son of Peter and Viola Fosheim. He attended his first year of school at the Little Eagle School. At the afe of seven, his family moved to Midland where he contunued his education. He had just completed his junior year at Midland High School. He was baptized at Deep Creek Church and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran in Midland. His father Peter Fosheim and a brother Richard Fosheim preceded him in death. Roger loved sports of all kinds and during his high school years was active in football, basketball, track, etc. He also enjoyed swimming, horseback riding and camping out while on hunting and fishing trips. Roger's memory will live forever in our hearts. His friends will remember his flashing smile and hearty laugh. Life will not be the same without him. Roger lost his life in a car accident on May 24, 1966. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother Mrs. Viola Fosheim, six sisters, Mrs Mike Schofield, Philip; Mrs Hank Schofield, Mrs. Martin Schofield, and Ruthie of Midland: Mrs. Morris Sandal, Hayers; Mrs George Anderson, Stamford: five brothers, Peter, Joe, John and Vic of Midland and George of Murdo; and a host of relatives and friends.
