Description	:	CENTRAL CITY - Roger Lee Butt, 71, of Central City died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Wedgewood Care Center in Grand Island. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Central City. The Rev. Kevin McReynolds will officiate. Burial will be in the Central City Cemetery at a later date. Wagner Funeral Home in Central City is in charge of the arrangements. Read More	CENTRAL CITY - Roger Lee Butt, 71, of Central City died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Wedgewood Care Center in Grand Island. Roger was born Nov. 19, 1941, at Central City to Fritz and Pauline (Doncheski) Butt. He grew up in Central City and attended school there, graduating from Central City High School in 1960. He was united in marriage to Marilyn I. Larson on Aug. 14, 1960, at Mamre Evangelical Free Church in Marquette. The couple lived in the Central City area and Roger farmed until 1984. He then went to work for Christensen Cattle Co. until 1989. He then began working for Rathman Manning Construction Co., until present time. Roger enjoyed fishing and hunting, his garden and NU volleyball and football. He also enjoyed attending his grandchildren's sporting events, traveling and family Friday nights. Survivors left to cherish his memory include his wife, Marilyn Butt of Central City; a son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Bridget Butt of Archer; four daughters and sons-in-law, Deb and Jeff Hooker of Grand Island, Nancy and Tim Harlow of Central City, Jill and Mike Kearney of Central City and Becky and Tracy Fuelberth of Central City; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandson; two step-great grandchildren; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Nadine and Dale Hilderbrand of Central City and Dee and Ken Luebbe of Central City; a brother-in-law, Bill Grigsby of Aurora; a sister-in-law, Alice Butt of Central City; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Butt; and a sister, Ernestine Grigsby. Published in The Grand Island Independent on March 11, 2013
