Description	:	Roger Lee Harper 66, of Jefferson City, passed away Saturday March 1, 2014 at his home. He was born January 24, 1948 in Richmond Va. the son of the late Andrew Alexander and Marion Louisa(Wilson) Harper. He was a graduate of Marriot High School in St Stephens Church, Virginia and went on to attend college in Richmond VA. Roger worked as aSuit Specialist at Dillard's in Jefferson City for five years. He was born January 24, 1948 in Richmond Va. the son of the late Andrew Alexander and Marion Louisa(Wilson) Harper. He was a graduate of Marriot High School in St Stephens Church, Virginia and went on to attend college in Richmond VA. Roger worked as aSuit Specialist at Dillard's in Jefferson City for five years. Roger always enjoyed keeping up with Real Estate and the Real Estate Market. He ejoyed remodeling and renovating various properties and always loved Colonial Furnishings an Architectural Designs of the Colonial Era. Roger also enjoyed traveling, and went on trips to Paris, Hong Kong, and Hawaii, as well as in the United States, where he enjoyed visiting California, Virgina, and Atlanta Georgia. He was practically a walking encyclopedia and always remembered everyone's phone numbers and certain dates. While working in Jefferson City he really ejoyed and took pride in interacting with his clents and many customers at Dillards. Roger is survived by his significant other of thirty five years, Elmer"Ray" Walker Jr. of the home. and two first cousins Deborah"Deb" Bell of Coronado CA. and W. Monsees Stubbs Jr of Rye N,Y. A Celebration of Life Service for Roger will be held at a later date. Interment will be held in the St Stephens Baptist Church Cemetery in St Stephens Church. Virginia. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Gifts can be made to the Capital Region Goldschmidt Cancer Center. P.0. Box 1128 Jefferson City Mo.
