Description	:	ROUNDUP - Roger LeRoy Lane, 35, died at his home at 822 Second St. W. in Roundup. He was born June 11, 1955, in Billings, the son of LeRoy and Myrtle Overgard Lane. He attended schools in Lavina, graduating from Lavina High School in 1974. After graduation, he worked as a truck driver and for ranches in the area. They moved to Roundup and have resided there... Read More	ROUNDUP - Roger LeRoy Lane, 35, died at his home at 822 Second St. W. in Roundup. He was born June 11, 1955, in Billings, the son of LeRoy and Myrtle Overgard Lane. He attended schools in Lavina, graduating from Lavina High School in 1974. After graduation, he worked as a truck driver and for ranches in the area. At the time of his death, he had been employed with Carquest Auto Center in Billings for the last 4½ years. On Aug. 14, 1982, he married Laura Lynn Nagel in Lavina. They moved to Roundup and have resided there since their marriage. He was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church of Roundup. He enjoyed trucking and the people he met on the road. He loved boating, fishing and hunting, and his many friends. He always wanted children. He loved animals, especially J.R., Odie and Becky. He raced demo cars and was a member of the Jaycees and enjoyed bowling and golfing. He is survived by his wife, Laura of Roundup; his mother and father, LeRoy and Myrtle Lane of Lavina; a sister, Joyce Shammel; his grandparents, John and Elizabeth Overgard of Roundup; a grandmother, Adah Lane of Billings; numerous cousins; and four aunts. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 16, 1991, at the Zion Lutheran Church in Roundup. Interment will be in the Lavina Cemetery. For those wishing, memorials may be made to the Zion Lutheran Church of Roundup. A luncheon will be served following the interment at the Lavina Senior Citizens Hall.
