Description	:	Roger Dvorak, 73, of Billings, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Roger was born Sept. 13, 1939, to Frank and Esther (Schleining) Dvorak in Billings. He spent his younger years living and working on the family homestead in Worden until he enlisted in the United States Army Sept. 13, 1956, on his 17th birthday. Read More	Roger Dvorak, 73, of Billings, passed away peacefully surrounded by his children on Tuesday, April 2, 2013. Roger was born Sept. 13, 1939, to Frank and Esther (Schleining) Dvorak in Billings. He spent his younger years living and working on the family homestead in Worden until he enlisted in the United States Army Sept. 13, 1956, on his 17th birthday. During his enlistment he met the love of his life, Patricia "Pat" Sikora. They began their life together on July 9, 1960. Together they raised five amazing children, all of which they were very proud of. Roger and Pat moved across country several times, living in Detroit, Mich.; Salt Lake City, Utah, and St. Paul, Minn., before returning home to Montana. They initially lived on the family homestead in Worden for several years where he enjoyed farming with his children and eventually purchased his home in Billings in 1977 where he spent many happy years raising his children. Roger was a dedicated, loyal, hard-working man — a trait he passed on to all his children. He spent years working at Pierce Packing and Beall Trailer & Transport where he was an outstanding welder. However, the job he enjoyed the most was being an owner operator of his own semi-truck and traveling the country with Pat. They told many magnificent stories of their travels. Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping, shooting and cooking his famous chicken noodle soup. Everyone has so many stories and memories of sharing time with him and loved his quirky sense of humor. Roger is preceded in death by his wife, Pat; parents Frank and Esther Dvorak; brother Franklin Dvorak; sister Karole Dvorak; son Thomas Dvorak; and grandson Jeremiah Wittman. Survivors include three daughters, three son-in-law, two sons, two daughters-in-law, six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren [survivors names omitted]. Daddy, we know you are up in heaven now enjoying Grandma's cinnamon rolls and harassing mom. Enjoy your life of eternal happiness. We will always cherish the memories you gave us, Dad, and we will love and miss you dearly until we meet again.
