Roland loved his family dearly. He is survived by his daughter, Wanda L. Miller and her husband William, of Seaford; a brother, Earle Vickery of Felton; and two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Doris Melvin Vickery; and a brother, Lynn Vickery. A funeral service will be held Saturday, June 6, 2015 at 11 AM at Watson Yates Funeral Home, Front and King Sts., Seaford, DE, where friends and family may call Friday evening, from 6:30-8:30 PM. Burial will be in Bloomery Cemetery, Federalsburg, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Woodland United Methodist Church, 5123 Woodland Church Rd., Seaford, DE 19973.
