Roma Bart was born Jan. 31, 1919, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She attended school in South Dakota. She married Leonard Kampschneider on Jan. 17, 1939, in rural Dodge. They farmed until 1946, then moved to Dodge. She did bookkeeping for her husband, and her son, Lumir, for their businesses. She also baby-sat. Roma Bart was born Jan. 31, 1919, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. She attended school in South Dakota. She married Leonard Kampschneider on Jan. 17, 1939, in rural Dodge. They farmed until 1946, then moved to Dodge. She did bookkeeping for her husband, and her son, Lumir, for their businesses. She also baby-sat. She entered Parkview Home in May 2002, where she lived to the present time. Her spouse preceded her in death Dec. 22, 1993. She was a member of Christian Mothers and the Altar Society, and St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. Survivors include: two sons, Lumir Kampschneider of Dodge and Larry (and wife, Pat) Kampschneider of West Point; four daughters, Donna (Mrs. Erwin) Steffen of Fremont, Carol (Mrs. Michael) Weber of Omaha, Shirley (Mrs. Roland) Ulrich of West Point and Diane Kampschneider of Omaha; two brothers, Dean (and wife, Phyllis) Bart of Arlington and Jim (and wife, Linda) Bart of Dodge; a sister, Mary Ann (and wife, Bill) McGuire of Wisner; 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a daughter, a grandson, five brothers and two sisters. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge with the Revs. Dennis DeGuzman, Dan Kampschneider and Roland Peschel officiating. Visitation will be 2:30-8 p.m. today and one hour prior to service time Friday, all at the church. Rosaries will be said at 3 p.m. today for Christian Mothers and 7:30 p.m. today for the public, all at the church. Burial will be in St. Wenceslaus Catholic Cemetery in rural Dodge. Humlicek Funeral Home in Dodge is in charge of arrangements.
