Description	:	The family and friends are mourning the loss of their loved one, Ronald "Ron" Allan Lord, 66, who passed away at 7:17 p.m. in his Marion home on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Ron was born in Paris, IN, to the late Francis E. and Vivian (Gowin) Lord. He graduated from high school as Valedictorian of his class. Read More	The family and friends are mourning the loss of their loved one, Ronald "Ron" Allan Lord, 66, who passed away at 7:17 p.m. in his Marion home on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Ron was born in Paris, IN, to the late Francis E. and Vivian (Gowin) Lord. He graduated from high school as Valedictorian of his class. Because of his talent at the piano, Ron went on to Butler School of Music, Indianapolis, where he continued his education and received both Bachelor's and Masters of Arts degrees. He managed Indy's Clowes Hall and directed the Carousel Theater in Akron, OH, for more than 20 years. Ron also spent time in New York, where he directed on Broadway, working with multiple stars of screen and stage. He was the musical director of John Raitt's national tour, and he worked and produced music with Bill and Gloria Gaither, Donny and Reba (McGuire) Rambo, Destiny Rambo-McGuire, and Lynda Randle. Ron returned to the area upon his father's illness and he lived in the area until his father's death. He is survived by his lifelong friend, Jimmy Moody; uncle, Max Fawley; cousins, Linda Brown-Dondero; Don Brown, William Fawley, Jane Fawley-Slusher, Kimberly Gast-Fuller, Dana Gast-Pritchett, Rebecca Wright; and friends, Nancy Goebel, Carolyn Hiatt, Juanita and Leonard Spada, and the Moody family. He was also preceded in death by his cousins, Ramona Lawshe Durbin and Christy Lawshe Adamson. The family will receive visitors at Swayzee Christian Church, 110 N. Washington St., Swayzee, on Wednesday, November 12, 2014, 4-8 p.m. Funeral Service will be at the church at 1 p.m. on Thursday with John Buckley officiating. Burial will be at Thrailkill Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Butler University School, c/o Grant County State Bank, 102 N. Washington, Swayzee, IN 46986. "Love you more"
