Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at O’Brien Straatmann Redinger Funeral Home in Kearney with the Rev. Cathy Cole officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Gibbon. Ronald was born April 22, 1955, in Kearney to Don and JoAnne (Clevenger) Meyers. He grew up in the Kearney area and received his education at Kearney Catholic. He also lived in Colorado and surrounding states and worked as a steel worker for large construction companies. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and family. He enjoyed the gift of antiquing. Old marbles were his favorite. He valued true friendship. He is survived by his son, Ronald D. Meyers Jr. and his wife, Sheri, of Lincoln; daughters, Angel Meyers of Hastings and Sunni Everson of Arizona; sisters, Cindy Erpelding and her husband, Greg, and Beth Heggemeyer and her husband, Loren, all of Kearney; six grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles and cousins who were very dear to him. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and one sister in infancy, Mary Meyers.
