Description	:	DARLINGTON -- Ronald Dalmus Stephens, age 79, passed away Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018. Funeral services were held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10th at Dovesville Church of God. Burial followed at the church cemetery, directed by Belk Funeral Home. Born Jan. 6, 1939, Ronald was the son of the late Lawton Stephens and Ella Welch Stephens. He served in the U.S. National Guard, and then worked for Coca-Cola in Bishopville. He was a member of S.C. Horseshoe Association. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Stephanie Rogers, Stacey (Greg) Gasque, Stephen Josey, Dexter (Katie) Farmer, Jordan Kirby, Ashton Kirby, Seth Stephens, Reed Stephens, Taylor Marshall, and Ethan Marshall; two great-grandchildren, Justin Watts and Landon Gasque; his brother, Larry (Marie) Stephens; and his sister, Wanda Cook, both of Darlington. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Gerald Stephens, Charles Stephens, and Franklin Stephens; his sisters, Gracie Deas and Doris Stephens.
