Read More	Ronald Edward "Ron" Lueders, 90 June 1, 1928 ~ April 10, 2019 Ronald was born June 1, 1929 to George and Ethyl Lueders in Thurston County, Nebraska. He graduated from Wakefield, NE High School in 1947. Ron was an Army Korean war veteran. He served faithfully at Avery Presbyterian Church of Bellevue, Nebraska. In 1956 he married Lois Kraninger, and they were blessed with three children. He was a charter member of the Outdoor Unlimited Gun Club. Ron loved to hunt and fish and took fishing trips to Canada. Ron was a kind father figure to so many. He enjoyed teaching several nephews to hunt and fish. Ron married Frances Holt March 26, 1977. Ron was proud to have been shop supervisor and lead welder, working for Metropolitan Utilities District (MUD) for 34 years. He retired in 1990. Ronald Edward Lueders, 90, Loving Father, Grandfather, Husband and Korean War Veteran, departed this life on April 10, 2019 with family present, for his journey home with our Lord. Left to honor his memory are three children: Rhonda and David Wetzel of Fort Calhoun, Brenda and Brett Schubert of Olathe, Kansas, and Linda and Jim Tibbets of Dufur, Oregon, as well as step-daughter Denise and Scott Schuck of Harvard NE, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by father, mother, older brother, older sister, youngest brother and wife Francis. A Celebration of Ron’s life will be Saturday, April 20 at 11:00 at Roeders Mortuary at 108th and Maple Street, Omaha, Nebraska. John Collicott will conduct the service. Interment will be at the Omaha National Cemetery, 14250 Shram Road at a later date.
