Description	:	RONALD GENE GLANZER Ronald Gene Glanzer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Glanzer, was born Oct. 12, 1942, in the Parkston, S. D. hospital. He died instantly in an accident Dec. 27, 1957, at the family home near Bridgewater, S. D. at the age of 15 years, two months and 12 days. Read More	RONALD GENE GLANZER Ronald Gene Glanzer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John D. Glanzer, was born Oct. 12, 1942, in the Parkston, S. D. hospital. He died instantly in an accident Dec. 27, 1957, at the family home near Bridgewater, S. D. at the age of 15 years, two months and 12 days. Three years ago when Ronald attended daily vacation Bible school at the Salem K. M. B. Church with Bro. LaVerne Hofer as teacher, he realized the need of accepting the Lord Jesus as his own personal Savior. With further instruction and counsel by his mother he accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior and was baptized by Pastor J. J. Kleinsasser and accepted as a member of the Salem K. M. B. church on August 5, 1956. At the time of his passing Ronald Gene was a member of the church choir and the Junior High School Sunday School class. In the past year Ronald had perfect attendance in Sunday school for which he received a ball point pen as a reward. This pen was found in his departing suit with the inscription, "I will never leave nor forsake Thee." He received his elementary education in the local county school and presently was a sophomore in Bridgewater high school. He participated in Future Farmers of America activities, was a member of the band, boys' glee club, mixed chorus and the basketball team. He will be remembered by his many friends for his pleasing and cheerful personality and his accordion music at social and church activities. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his mother, father and one brother JoJae; Grandpa and Grandma Johnson of Parkston; aunts and uncles, Marie Glanzer, Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Glanzer, Mr. and Mrs. Peter J. Hofer, Mr. and Mrs. Paul D. Hofer, Mr. and Mrs. Joe D. Glanzer, all of Bridgewater, Mr. and Mrs. Dave G. Wollman of Menno, S. D., Miss Rebecca Glanzer of Poona, India, Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Cummons of Hazel Green, Wisc., Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Philmer Thompson, all of Parkston, S. D., Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Wudel of Mitchell, S. D. and Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Wall of Dinuba, Calif. There are also 26 first cousins who survive. (MWR 23 Jan 1958 p. 8)
