Read More	Ronald Gene Kiker, also known by his co-workers as "Renegade" of Monroe, NC passed away Monday, March 11, 2019. Ronald Gene was born August 30, 1947 in Monroe, NC to the late John Henry Kiker and the late Ruby Jane Rushing Kiker. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Glenda Kay Tomberlin Kiker who passed away in 2015. Survivors include his brother Rev. Henry Roger Kiker and wife Sheila of Ahoskie, NC; sister Teresa J. Kiker of Unionville, NC; sister Annette K. Edwards and husband Tony of Monroe, NC; brothers in law Wilburn Tomberlin and James Tomberlin; sisters in law Flora Little, Deane Simpson, Peggy Hinson and husband Hilton, Doris Greene and husband Bill, and Faynell Greene, all of Monroe, NC; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald Gene "Renegade" retired from Charlotte Pipe after 42 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as playing golf. Ronald Gene will always be remembered as a person who put other's needs ahead of his own. He will be truly missed by all those who knew him and loved him. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland, 13575 Broadway Ave. in Midland, NC. The funeral service will be on Wednesday at 1:00 pm at Shiloh Advent Christian Church, 3601 Sikes Mill Road in Monroe, NC officiated by Rev. Arval Rushing and Rev. Travis Hutcheson with a 30 minute state prior to the service. Burial will follow at the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 . Hartsell Funeral Home of Midland is serving the Kiker family.
