Description	:	Ronald LaRae Walker, 57, of rural Watertown, died Wednesday in his home following a lengthy illness. Mr. Walter was born August 8, 1932 in Colton. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. He married Francis Bickett on June 13, 1953, in Pipestone, Minnesota. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 as a military police officer. Mr. Walter was born August 8, 1932 in Colton. He was baptized and confirmed into the Lutheran faith. He married Francis Bickett on June 13, 1953, in Pipestone, Minnesota. He served in the Army from 1953 to 1955 as a military police officer. He was graduated from General Beadle State College in 1959 with a bachelor of science degree in education. He taught in Arlington from 1959 to 1971. He then moved to a farm six miles south of Watertown and began working for the Multi District Vocational Career Center in Watertown. He quit in 1977 and started his own company, Energy Industries Inc. He sold the business in 1980 and had been farming and traveling since then. Survivors include his wife; five sons; Randy of Green River, Wyoming; Lanny of Glasgow, Montana; Ron Jr. of Clark; David of Minneapolis; and Daniel of Watertown; eight grandchildren; three brothers, Lyle, Lake Elsinore, California; Sterne, Eureka, California; and Merle, Long Beach, California; and five sisters, Inez Mortensen, Portland, Oregon; Lois Evans, Boulder City, Nevada; Mrs. John (Eunice) Maule, Palm Desert, California; and Mrs. Wally (Arlett) Jacobson, and Mrs. Al (Violet) Wagner, both of Long Beach. Committal services will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Oldham City Cemetery. Funeral services will begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Grace Lutheran Church, Watertown. Visitation will be from 2 to 9 p.m. Monday in Crawford Funeral Chapel, Watertown, and from 9 to 10 a.m. Tuesday in Johnson Henry Funeral Home, Oldham.
