Description	:	Ronald Lee Anderson, 67, of Lake Preston, SD died Wednesday, April 13th after a courageous battle with cancer. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 16th at 10:00 AM at the Lake Preston Lutheran Church in Lake Preston. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Friday evening, April 15th at the church. Vicar Brad Sanderson will be officiating. Burial will be at East Bethania Cemetery, rural Erwin. Ron was born in Lake Preston on April 24, 1948 to Albert and Evelyn (Severson) Anderson. He attended the Lake Preston Lutheran Church where he was also baptized and confirmed. He graduated from Lake Preston High School and attended college in Brookings. On August 4, 1967, he married his high school sweetheart, Kay Koch and they had four daughters. They had 43 wonderful years together. Ron worked as a printer from high school until his retirement in 2009 for the Lake Preston Times, DeSmet News, Creative Printing in Huron and Harold’s Printing in Brookings. Ron was very involved in the Lake Preston community being a member of the Lutheran Church, Volunteer Fire Department, School Board, and Kiwanis Club. He had a heart for fishing, dancing and riding his motorcycle. Ron is survived by his four daughters; Kari Stevens and Gregg Lees of Aurora, Vikki and Steve Hasche of Lake Preston, Tami and Patrick Steffensen of Pierre, Jeani and Jesse Vincent of Arlington; his nine grandchildren; John, Billi, Jack, Kaden, Claire, Campbell, Ellisyn, Emarie, and Easton; and his wife Eleanor (Bunny) Paschke of Side Lake, MN. He was preceded in death by wife; Kay Anderson, his parents, and his sister Margie.
