Description	:	Ronald M. Bunce, 68, of Grand Mound, died unexpectedly on Sunday, February 25, 2018, in Grand Mound. A memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 to 10:45 a.m., Thursday, March 1, at SS Philip & James Catholic Church, Grand Mound, with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday in the church with the Rev. Fr. Francis Odoom officiating. Interment and military rights will follow at Kvindherred Cemetery, rural Calamus, Iowa. Ronald Michael Bunce was born in Clinton the son of Daniel and Lucille (Jurgensen) Bunce. He graduated from Central Community Schools in DeWitt. He joined the Army in 1968 and served two tours in Vietnam. He was united in marriage to Teresa Wilkinson on October 11, 1969. He was employed with Genesis Home Medical Equipment, until he retired. He was a member of SS Philip & James Catholic Church, Grand Mound, the DeWitt American Legion, and the VVA. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, canoeing and motorcycles. Surviving are his wife, Teresa; one daughter, Amy (Joe) Bexson of Madison, WI; one son, Christopher Bunce of Eldridge; seven grandchildren, Tyler, Henry, Riley, Chloe, Sofia, Amelia and Scarlett; four sisters, Patricia, Debra, Barbara and Michelle; and one brother, Steve Bunce. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Greg Bunce and infant twin daughters, Susan and Sarah Bunce. Source: Schultz Funeral Home
