Read More	Obituary courtesy of Bittner Funeral Home, Mitchell SD: Ronald Paul Triebwasser was born September 28, 1940 in Hanson County to Fred and Anna (Heitzman) Triebwasser. Ron established roots in Emery where he started his career in farming after graduating from Emery High School in 1958. On June 16, 1961 Ron married his high school sweetheart, Judith Klock. Ron left farming to start a successful insurance business in 1991. In 1996 he and Judy started My Home Address, Inc., a mail forwarding business. They moved to the city of Emery in 2004. Always a faithful and active servant of the First Baptist Church, Ron was a member of Plum Creek Baptist Church until 1967, when he and his family transferred to First Baptist Church in Emery. There he served Christ in a number of capacities as a Sunday school officer and teacher, a Deacon, church board member and Men’s Brotherhood President all while singing in the First Baptist Choir. Ron also served his community and country as the Hanson County Republican chairman, long time school board member and a member of the Army National Guard. Anyone who knows Ron also knows that his greatest passion was music. He started singing at a very young age with his family in Plum Creek Baptist church and those talents continued throughout his life. Highlights of his singing career were participating in the Kings Kinsmen Quartet, singing for Bill Janklow’s gubernatorial inauguration, as well as other social events. He was a proud member for 38 years of the Bridgewater Community Choir. He especially enjoyed singing and listening to Southern Gospel Music and attending Bill Gaither Concerts. Ron also possessed a sincere interest in others and had a gift for touching other’s lives through conversation. Ron was a great listener and story teller and was also not shy about sharing his faith and political views! Ron directly influenced his children and grandchildren through his love of music and all sports. He was always available to help them work on songs, their basketball jump shot, or teaching them how to throw a great curveball. He was very proud of them, continually encouraged them and never missed school, music or sporting events for either his children or grandchildren. He even cheered on his grandkids during baseball games the week of his passing. Ron truly was #1 Grandpa as shown by his favorite cap which was worn to all ballgames. He constantly reminded his grandkids he loved them either in person or anytime he spoke with them on the phone. He also shared the same respect and encouragement for their team members and friends. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and his father and mother in law.
