Description	:	ABE1 US NAVY VIETNAM∼"Ronald R. Brandt, 76 years, of Wahoo, NE died Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Homestead Nursing Home in Lincoln, NE. He was born June 2, 1940 in Fremont, NE to Raymond and Carol (Gocken) Brandt. He was a graduate of Fremont High School. Ronald joined the U.S. Navy directly after graduation, and was a steam catapult engineer on the USS Kearsarg and the USS Lexington. Ronald served during the Vietnam War. He lived in Los Lunas, NM., and moved to Wahoo after that. Ronald was a member of the VFW Post 4502 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, both at Wahoo. He also was a founding member of the Fremont Airboat Club. Survivors include sons, Scott Brandt of Albuquerque, NM., Mathew Brandt and Mitchell both of Farmington, NM; sister, Pamela (Garry) Greenbush of Fremont, NE; brother Dennis (Ellen) Brandt of Fremont, NE; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents and son, Mark Brandt, and a grandson Tyler Brandt. Memorial service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, August 19, 2016 at Moser Memorial Chapel in Fremont, NE. The Rev. Scott Jensen will officiate. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service at the funeral home. Military honors conducted by the VFW Post 4502 and American Legion Post 82 both of Wahoo, at the funeral home following the service. Memorials may be directed to the family for a charity yet to be determined." Moser Memorial Chapel, Fremont, Nebraska.
